Paul Brock is a registered patent attorney and practices all aspects of patent prosecution and patent litigation, including post-grant proceedings at the USPTO, patent portfolio landscape analysis, management, and development, and opinion work.
Paul was previously an examiner at the USPTO and was in Art Unit 2634 which covers optical communication systems. He also previously worked under Judge David R. Proctor of the Northern District of Alabama and helped prepare a judicial opinion for a trade secrets case that involved complex software issues, as well as provided technical expertise to Judge Proctor.
Paul has experience prosecuting patents in a variety of technological fields, including mechanical engineering, optical communication systems, electrical and computer engineering, software, and medical device technologies.
