Associate Attorneys

We are seeking talented and driven professionals with 1+ years of experience in patent prosecution and litigation, preferably at private law firms, although USPTO experience will also be considered a plus. Experience in preparing responses to USPTO Office Actions and in drafting new applications is required for anyone without USPTO experience.

We provide competitive compensation with both substantially higher compensation rates in relation to their gross billing as compared to competing firms in the Washington, DC are and additional incentives for attorney-originated work.

Student & Summer Associates

Maier & Maier welcomes the opportunity to work with high achieving individuals while in law school, whether during the summer or during the academic year. Preference is given for those with hard science backgrounds and Patent Bar eligibility, though all candidates will be considered.
