Michael Downing brings a wealth of industry experience having worked as a practicing engineer for a large, multi-national corporation developing and testing large-scale power generation solutions. He specialized in computational fluid dynamics and computer programing, utilizing computer simulations to aid in the aerodynamic, mechanical, and thermal design of high-temperature turbine components. Michael also has experience developing engineering software toolchains as well as providing both full-scale engine testing support and manufacturing support. Michael is currently attending George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School, where he is a J.D. candidate.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati, where he majored in aerospace engineering with a focus on fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, computer programming, and German language.
